Independence from applications and versions

Make your applications independent of each other. What happens usually, if you want to update one or more applications out of your existing tool chain? I.e. interfaces and scripts have to be tested and modified for the new versions – quite difficult sometimes or even impossible, if the tool integration is delivered by the tool vendor himself. This causes a lot of addi­tional effort.
These version conflicts and incompatibilities by proprietary integration technologies can be resolved by agosense.symphony, thanks to our proven adapter technology.

We provide the adapters for the actual tool versions. Simply change the relevant adapter within the platform or even operate different versions of a tool at the same time with different adapters. We take care about maintenance and further development of these adapters – and you can benefit from this independence.

How does this work?

agosense.instruments is the term for the adapter technology we have invented. Adapters are required to normalize the communication between the different tools and applications. Usually, all tools and applications offer programmatic interfaces, but these are realized very differently in terms of technical implementation or infrastructure. The main task for the adapters is to compensate these differences. In the end, the applications' functionalities are then provided on a common basis to all services.

Based on this normalization, all functions offered are available to the BPEL process language. Integration procedures can be modeled and access the applications from there. The data exchange process itself is decoupled from the technical integration completely. If communication interfaces, functions, tools or applications will change, only the adapter has to be modified without ever touching the integration procedures.
