agosense offers an adapter to integrate the Atlassian® Jira® Bug Tracking System with the agosense.symphony platform. The adapter enables easy access to objects such as defects or enhancement requests.

The solution allows to integrate Jira's Tracking System with other disciplines in the development process - regardless of which tools you are using e.g. for Requirements Management, Change Management, Test Management, Configuration Management, etc.

Of course, this adapter is also designed to work with other Tracking Systems you may run in your organisation. This way you can easily integrate different departments using JIRA and other Tracking Systems in parallel - i.e. for newly aquired business units - helping to establish a uniform change process even within a heterogeneous tool landscape. The adapter also allows for data exchange with external development partners using JIRA.


Overview/Functions:

Create derived Issues (i.e. Change Requests, Features, etc.) in JIRA from your Requirements Management System:

• Access and manipulate all available objects and object types in JIRA
• Keep related objects in sync bidirectionally.

Define your own data mapping structure between both systems' data objects, i.e.

• Create hyperlinks in other systems to refer to the Issues in JIRA and vice versa
• Assign Change Requests and/or Tasks to developers enabling them to track their work in the Configuration Management System
• Create multiple data mapping scenarios for different groups or projects using our configuration sets.

Make use of the strong process modeling capabilities with agosense.symphony, i.e

• Highlight Issues if related Requirements in your connected Requirements Management System have changed
• Track back status information to your Requirements Management System if a Requirement is implemented, tested, test failed, etc.
• Create multiple process templates for different groups or projects using our visual process modeler.
