The B2B portal adapters offer the following functions (among many others):

• Fetch and read packaged change requests from the portals and transfer the data into a normalized format
• Write and deliver packaged change requests to the portals in the original format
• Optimized transfer of file attachments in both directions (only new or changed attachments will be transferred).
